Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Our Development

At Catalyst Search we are committed to our own learning and development in diversity, equity and inclusion. We believe an important part of our role as recruitment consultants and talent advisors is to cultivate an equitable hiring process aimed at eliminating barriers for candidates of all backgrounds and lived experiences, in order to help our clients hire diverse and inclusive teams.

Our Development

As part of our continued development, in 2021 we completed 20 hours of virtual DEI training.

In 2022, we have already completed an 8 week course, Bloom Academy’s DEI for the Workplace.

We are a current and active member of the Moms At Work Collective, a professional association and advocacy group for Working Mothers, dedicated to advancing the practice of Pay Transparency & Pay Equity in the Recruitment & Hiring process for women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+.

Land Acknowledgement

Catalyst Executive Search Inc. acknowledges that the land we are founded on is the traditional territory of many first nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.

We are currently a fully remote team, however this land acknowledgement allows us to engage in our own continued learning and reconciliation by reflecting on a physical location and the first nations peoples who this land was stolen from.

We encourage our team, our clients, and our partners to take the time to learn about the lands they currently live and work on, to further centre reconciliation
